Editorial and Catalog Policy
Discover K-Beauty is a product discovery catalog, not a retailer or medical service. This policy describes the publication rules currently supported by the platform.
Public product eligibility
A product must be active, belong to an active brand, link to an official HTTPS source and have a processed primary image whose rights status has been approved. Indexable product pages must also contain a meaningful description or ingredient list and a product category or type.
Sources and product facts
Catalog facts originate from official brand sources or reviewed editorial overrides. The public page identifies the official source and the catalog update date when available. Marketing claims are not presented as independent scientific conclusions. Ingredient lists may change, so the current packaging and official source remain authoritative.
Cosmetic and medical boundary
Product and quiz content is cosmetic information. It does not diagnose, prevent or treat a medical condition and does not replace advice from a qualified clinician. The quiz is a deterministic catalog match based on product types and source-derived tags.
Commercial relationships
Official source links are ordinary citations unless a placement is visibly labeled Sponsored. Sponsored outbound links use the sponsored link relationship. Discover K-Beauty does not sell, stock or ship the products shown.
Images
Only processed images with an approved rights status can make a D1 product public. Generated card and detail variants are stored under immutable media URLs.
Corrections
To report an error, email hello@discoverkbeauty.com with the page URL, the field to correct and a primary or official source. Material public facts update the product timestamp and invalidate relevant catalog caches.
